What is Title I?
Title I, Part A (Title I) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended (ESEA) provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.
The purpose of Title 1 funding, is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.
Paradise Professional Development School has been designated as a Title I school. This designation allows our school to receive additional federal funds to assist with our instructional program. Attached are several documents related to the Title I program at Paradise PDS.
